Stainless steel sculpture, 8 metres high,
designed by Paul Margetts and fabricated and installed by
Alan Dawson Associates.
sculpture is intended to complement BSLs new National Distribution Centre - the
curving lines, gently contrasting with the geometry of
the architecture. The chosen material, stainless steel
implies modernity and progress and is effectively set off
by the blue cladding of the offices.
The design of the
sculpture promotes a sense of togetherness and harmony
while the energy in the vertical tendrils suggest
optimism and ambition.
